
Medication Aide--
Class starts April 8th. Three week program, day schedule.
Class limited to 10 students.
Upon the successful completion of this program, the student will receive a Certificate of Completion from Empowering Health Education (EHE). Graduates are then eligible to apply to take the Registration Exam through the Virginia Board of Nursing to become a Registered Medication Aide (RMA). This is a 68 Hour program and includes 20 hours of clinical practice. This course qualifies you to administer medications in an assisted living facility. Approved by the Virginia State Board of Nursing.
Requirements

Be at least 18 years old

CPR Certification Recommended

High school diploma or GED recommended

Must have verifiable credentials as a Certified Nurse Aide or Direct Care Aide
